Quick PvA thing to get off my head.
Okay. So while Mark the Zangoose's first bit will be the next release for PvA. There is something with Lily's part that is a bit... outdated so to say.
When I released the current PvA demo. I goto to work on the other character builds not to long after. Building them in a way which they are built somewhat better then the way I did in Lily's game.
Don't really know how to discribe it but the overall build for character builds seem more thought out and fluid. Also being able to attach more abilities and features. In the back of my mind, I feel like Lily's part is once again going to need an overhaul. This would be it's 3rd time if I did.
Heres where I want a little feedback. Should I try to rework the current rigging of Lily's game, or would it be more wise to rebuild her game once again?
Keep in mind if the latter is picked, the the rebuilt game would bot inclode the first part but rather where it left off. I would rebuild her fisrt part after the second demo is released.
Just was getting that off my chest for now. There are some more things I'd like to post about PvA at a later date. For now. Please leave your thoughts and thanks for reading!

sacrificing time so you can rebuild the system of your game would be recommendable if you are willing to spend more resources (time-wise) to re-create a new system (practicably starting from scratch this section), also taking in account the debugging section (a pain in the butt <personal experience>) ,
or
sacrificing "functions & tweaks" to Focus on what you already have.
Now my opinion as a novice programmer & a "somewhat new" game designer would be that of refining what you already got.
However; I you feel like the rebuilding from point 0 is the better choose for you; go for it.
Whatever your choose is ; I'll be waiting
(Also; maybe I'm misinterpreting the problem; If so, please let me know).
I lost several projects due to the same decision of modifying something and ended up with a product so buggy (beyond repair)
If you are willing to do it; do it. The only thing that you can loose in this case would be time, and there's plenty of it now.
(I still thinking that perfecting the current progress would be the best idea, but I don't really know how everything is doing over there.)
Well, wherever you do: You have my support
Well for me having a job and things to do. Time isn't in endless supply for me. Had to decide what was better use of my time. Hance why PvA has been slow.
As far as rather restart or overhaul. I think FoxyUmbreon has a point. A comparison is needed so maybe I should whip up test file of the new setup? (Given it's in a fit state to be judged.)
It's ultimately your project however, so don't neglect your own satisfaction. As excited as I am for the next updates, I would rather be patient and enjoy what you choose to provide us with than rush you.
I hope my feedback was helpful. I can't wait to see what you have planned next!
Also, you think a rewrite would be beneficial in the long run, it's probably better to go that route :P
Having clean code is so much better, regardless if people see the difference or not!
other than that the games good so far
