Those Sad moments that make it hard to...

... Keep reading a book the second time. Volle by Kyell Gold is a great book, one of my favorite furry reads. But, i have only ever been able to read it once. Because there is a moment when you meet some one fantastic, and than plot happens, and bad things. For me, it actually makes the whole time with the characters in question just bitter sweet. I have read to that point again (forgot it was there) and than just had to stop.
Now, let me be clear, this is a FANTASTIC book! For some of Kyell's early stuff, I adore it! And i have read most of his books, even others in the same series more than one, but this one sadly hits me a bit to hard. There are a few books I have read that have done this to me, another example is Super-Toys Last All Summer Long by Brian Aldiss, the basis of which the movie A.I. is based on. Its just such a tragic ending...
So, here I am debating if i want to power though it, or if i want to find something else for light reading. I would like to point out, this isnt the only thing i am surrently reading, i am also starting Midnight Tides and War of Honor, and in the middle of The Elenium, and a reread of Children of Steel and the other books in that series. So it snot like i am lacking things to read. But still... Maybe i should confront the roadblock if you will, even if it will bring a few tears?
