Softpaw, KnotCast, and the Ursa Major Awards
16 years ago
Hey all,
First and foremost, if you don't listen to KnotCast, DO SO! They are very entertaining, very sexy, and give a lot of great sex/relationship advice.
Last week, in episode 47 of KnotCast, the hosts did a little segment at the end, talking about how Softpaw Magazine and Finding Avalon were nominated for Ursa Major awards, and how these vile creations would ruin the Ursa Majors if they won, and how those "cubfuckers" should be taken off the ballot. I thought the whole segment was extremely unfair and distasteful towards the folks over at Softpaw. I sent in a rather lengthy email detailing all the issues I had with their discussion. I'm guessing that not all (if any) of it will be read on air, so I will post a copy here for the benefit of myself and anyone who's interested in the issue at hand.
[Although the issue has yet to be re-addressed on the show, and I am still engaging in discussion with one of the hosts, a lot of my passion regarding the issue has been diffused, and I no longer wish to make my initial response public. As such, this entry has been what some may colloquially consider "bawleted"]
