Hello all!

I guess I never talked about this on FA, but I've been living in California for the past 2.5 years. I came out here for a job that sounded great on paper but the workplace turned out to be very dysfunctional. There are a lot of nice things about California but being a Canadian with a Canadian boyfriend makes living in the USA all the harder, so I've been looking for something new back home.

I am happy to report that I have been accepted to a graduate program at the University of Toronto so I will be leaving California in the Spring and moving back to Toronto! I am very excited. My current job has been remarkably depressing and isolating so will be nice to get into something new and inspiring and be close to friends and family again. I haven't been nearly as active online since I moved, although I don't know to what degree it is because of the work-related malaise. Anyway, I hope to be more fun again once I'm back in my element :)

One other detail: I actually don't have a Canadian boyfriend anymore... I have a Canadian fiancé!  nasido and I got engaged over our Christmas holiday together, and I am just over the moon about it :D. We haven't thought much about wedding date or details as we are still living in separate countries, but that is on the horizon :3

I'll be at Furnal Equinox again this year. Looking forward to saying hi to all my Toronto fur friends again :)
