What's With All the Sharks?
Lately, as I comb the galleries and favorites of fellow FAers in search of... Inspiration, I have been noticing something odd: all the shark furry art and characters.
Seriously though, what is with all the sharks? Sharks are not cuddly creatures. Just try and cuddle with one in real life, I dare you.
So, why are there so many of them here?
Now, if your fursona is a shark, okay. I'm not being judgmental, I'm only seeking an answer to a somewhat baffling concept. Sharks have teeth - sharp ones. Their skin is not as smooth as it looks, rubbing against one the wrong way would leave you scratched (and not in the good way), or even bleeding (again not in the good way). And, they, in my humble opinion, look... Odd, in terms of anthropomorphization (is that a word ?), not really something I'd want to try snuggling up with versus say, a wolf, fox, cat, otter, or other furry creature.
Could someone explain the appeal of this particular species? I honestly don't get it.
