I've decided to take the rest of August off. After a bout of food poisoning and the new tablet breaking so soon after buying it I think I'm done for a little bit. I'll be focusing on offline projects, until September but I don't want to subject you guys to my 'GEN KILL' mood.
The new Yiynova arrived, but there's a power management issue with the USB 3.0 connection and the USB cable itself somehow got damaged. I'm going through a RMA and will get it repaired/replaced, but the whole thing has given me the snarlies. (Also, it's getting seen to. I don't need tech support.)
On the good side, I continue to work on the Gaming for Kitties page. I know I promised to have the donation page up 'Mid September', but I needed to get the Razoo page set up. So if you go to http://little-tales.com/kitties/ you'll see the donation link below the counter.

Also, 2015 and RMA's are still a thing. Why don't we have eRMA's, or iRMA's, or some other technoabbly thing of interest?
As for the RMA, it probably doesn't help that I'm dealing with a go-between from China. Still, their customer service is pretty good!
Last year, weren't there some kind of badges with "I didn't let Gen sleep" for people over a certain donation? Or was that just a plan (I didn't get any, so I don't know.. ^_^)
Are you thinking about something similar this time? Like Coffeemugs (kinda appropriate...) or things?

And you know, that's a point about the cable. I wonder if we could wire a jack on the back to take a KVM cable, which would have the VGA and USB combined... <ponders>, <eyes the one next to him with intent>
Also, did I not say yet how neat it was to meet you at Megaplex? Well, it was. :)
And by the way... since I am getting a new tablet. Would you be interested in the MSP19U? The only issue is that the monitor connector is wonky so unless you jiggle it just right you get a screen full of magenta.
