I've seen Song of the South on Kazaa since there aren't any tapes/DVDs of it anywhere in the world. And you're right. I didn't see anything racist or offensive on this piece anywhere. I mean, that's what they talked and did back when. And I should know. I have a degree in history. Why can't they just bring it back?
And as for Rock-a-Doodle. I don't think the kid ever said "A" furry in the movie. I think he was suppose to say "ALL" furry. But, do to his semi-decent acting and for being so young. He can't put the words together and it came out like that. Just to point out a fact.
And plus, two of the African American actors that were in the film won Best Supporting Actor and Actress Oscars in that film. First EVER African American winners of any oscar award. Now THAT'S historical in itself.
