Emergency help!! Fire destroyed home, family in need!!

I'm posting this journal entry again because I want it to keep appearing on people's pages and maybe those who missed it will see it. If any of you keep seeing this, please boost it on your own page! And if you can, donate!
My good friend
's home was destroyed early this week in a horrible house fire. She lived there with her husband and their animals. The entire home was burnt down, and they have absolutely nothing left.
More importantly, her husband was severely injured and has second degree burns over a lot of his body. He was injured pulling Melanie out of the house.
All of their animals were killed except for one of their cats. That included a couple other kitties, pet birds, and their family dog.
They have absolutely nothing left. And David is still in the hospital in intensive care recovering ever so slowly.

Melanie's sister has set up a GoFundMe account to help them, and every little bit helps. Please, if you can, donate even the smallest amount. If you can't, please pass this along and post this on your own page. Or, if possible, take a couple commissions and pass the money their way.

I know I am long overdue in commissions, and I do not mean to cause any upset to my commissioners, but this is a unique situation.
So for now I am offering 5 commission spots for some of my ballpoint pen sketches. They will each be $15 instead of the usual $20. THEY WILL BE COMPLETED quickly with a very fast turnover time.
ALL PROCEEDS FROM THESE COMMISSIONS will go to Melanie to help her and her husband to rebuild from everything they have lost!!

I hope you didn't mind me linking you in my journal on FA. I wasn't meaning to pressure you to donate, but really was hoping you could just repost it since you run in a different "circle" of folks here on FA to an extent. Just trying to get this out there as much as I can for them. this is such a tragedy.
And thank you for spreading the word! I really can't even imagine what I would do if I was her. Her husband is still in critical care and will need skin grafts for some of his burns, his lungs are still not fully functional, he has a tracheostomy now… and to think of losing all my animals… god it makes me shudder. Sometimes I really sit and wonder why such horrible things have to happen to good people. I just have to have faith that there is some purpose to the way things work in this universe.
