Normally I'd turn to the draw the person above you thread on the forums to distract me but in an "absolutely shocking" turn of event FA has managed to send a cease-and-desist to its own forums.
I still want to be distracted though. So post your characters refs and backgrounds, interesting ideas and concepts, ... whatever you think will be fun to draw. I might pick out some things here and there for a quick five or ten minute sketch.

Karen here has a curse in which she slowly turns into a horse if she doesn't eat a certain magic blocking flower consistently.
Perhaps you would like to draw her during one of these times where the flowers are scarce, and the changes are emerging :)

Took a bit longer than I planned but it's always fun when people suggest I do things with my own characters so I made it a comic.
Here is Sabine Ebert, so far my only char with ref sheet. For Halloween I've been thinking about turning her into were wart hog, or a were hog if you want. Something like her looking worried to the sky, winds moving the clouds away, the light of the moon turning her into were hog, and she stands there, in torn clothing, snorting at the full moon. You know, wolf's howling with pig noises basically.
