Hunting for elves
I'm feeling a strange compulsion to draw elves, fairies and other things with pointy ears, cute faces and long wavy hair. Yet I face a drought of reference material. So point me to your elf characters and I might just sketch a quick headshot of them.

i did have an elfquest elfsona called dreamtoucher.
and his wolf friend is called snow runner.
i don't think i ever tried to draw dremtoucher.
shaping dreams was his gift.
and his psionic ability was like that of a zozzle
which is to say, any attacker would be turned away by their own nightmares generated in their own minds.
externally of course they would simply collapse into slumber, but so seamlessly they would never realize it wasn't real until they woke up,
which they would hours later, and of course dreamtoucher himself would be long elsewhere.
so he never had to carry a physical weapon, though he did have a walking stick.
snow runner was/is almost all white, except for an orangish amber nine pointed star on her chest, with four green dots inside of it.
elfquest, was by wendy and richard pini, hence also their publishing name of warp graphix.
this was a graphic novel series in the 1980s. wendy was the artist and richard was the writer.
back in the early days of dial up bulliten boards, dreamtoucher was on bwms, also known as backwater, which ran on something called a diskwriter, which was basically a rom controlled floppy drive.
what did dreamtoucher look like? well i suppose a little like sky wise.
the elfquest 'world', not the elve's world of origen, but the world, possibly a post ecopocalyptic earth, was a lot like what i might imagine a pose ecopocalyptic ferral furry world, except with elves instead of humans or furrys. these pini elves could communicate psionically over distances and not only with each other, but with their wolf companions and to a lesser extent, some of the perhaps with other less advanced ferrals.
the wolves and elves though, had a special bond not only of spirt but also of blood. probably one of the deeper and more complex graphic novel series ever published.
