To long Didn't Read post ahead,... Status on My mother.

Hi Everyone, just a quick update, I'm back home for a bit before returning to mom in a few hours. She was Really close on Monday/Tuesday, but by Tuesday night and Today she bounced back. Now I don't want to get any ones hopes up, and this isn't a post about her recovering, but she is "surprising" the doctors for now as her appetite has grown, and a lot of the infection (that they gave her) seems to be going away.

However they can't even begin to start chemo until she gets the infection gone and gains some weight, and they are still giving her days at best. We are hoping to prove them wrong but at the same time preparing just incase. Shes very normal mentally when shes off the meds, but she still has to take them when the pain gets to bad which I'm not to keen on as she seems to get closer to slipping away when the meds kick in.

She still pulls back and fights it which is great, however we've all heard stories like this and it rarely ends well. But I'm going to hope my mom's will is stronger than the current infection, and strong enough to last until they can Get her into Chemo.

I have half convinced her Doctor to try some Experimental treatments that sound promising, but are too new to have any long real data, but again he'll only do that once Chemo is an option (Which is frustrating as that can't happen until she can get past the infection which they caused, but the Treatment may also be able to fight the infection, but they don't want to do the treatment until she can get chemo, but she can't get chemo.... ect ect) So we're bit of a circle right now and its up to mom to get us to the next step. ITs like You can't get the job unless you have the experience, but can't get the experience with out the job..

I want to Thank Brendan for helping at the start of this week, My Aunt for flying up from DC/MD area, My evil Sister Monique​, for being not so evil this time and darn awesome. And all of you for your support. Sorry for long post, and again thank you all.

I DO hope for the amazing to happen and to give you good news, but that is along ways away "at best" and the worse is still the most likely... Even so again thank you all for your support and mom says "hi to all of my son's internet friends".
