Changing accounts!! PLEASE READ!!

Hey guys! Or whoever actually reads this post since it seems like hardly anyone gives a shit about my FA anymore, or about FA in general.
I've really felt like the fun of this site has gotten lost in a newer age of favoriting people's art but not commenting and leaving them any kind of input. I miss the times when we would actually comment on each other's art, encourage each other. Even if it was a simple, "I like this because of the colors." I also feel like this site has become one big popularity contest, which just isn't ok with me. Therefore I'm not going to be using it as much.
I will still check in here because some of my favorite artists post here a lot, and I do find this website to the most active of most furry artists, so for commissions/trades/information of that sort I will pop in.
From now on I am going to be posting mainly to Facebook, Weasyl, DA and Tumblr.
I may still use this site as a sort of "art dump" sort of page since it has all of my art for the past few years. But as far as being active and commenting/keeping up with people, please check for me at those sites.
Facebook is my most used website, and it is friends only. Please friend request me! I add most everyone as I don't keep anything furry separate from any family/friends or anything. I just post everything there! So if you have a FB that's the best way to keep in touch with me.
And if you need to get in touch about a commission/trade, etc you can still note me here as I will be popping by from time to time, or you can e-mail me for a more direct response at jolynferguson[at]gmail.com

ANYWAYS, apparently I wasn't following your tumblr yet, HI.
And you're right - moving over to Tumblr and FB with the like button is similar, but I don't know, it's more than just that for me. It's also that this site just feels like one big popularity contest now. Who can get the most favs, the most people on Patreon, the most commissions, cater to the right crowd of whatever weird fetish is going on right now... I just feel like it isn't the same as it used to be. And I guess a lot of this is just a personal choice.
So again, I mean nothing by that, I'm so sorry if I came off the wrong way. *all the hugs*

But yeah, I do think people have moved on to different platforms too. If you have a smartphone, a lot of people are posting on instagram. That and Twitter seem to be a big thing, especially now that phone pictures of art instead of finely edited scans are socially acceptable now.
