I built a PC about 2 years ago, and finally got around to doing some upgrades.
I put in 16 gigs of Ram and a 2tb hard drive, bringing my system up to:
AMD FX8350 black/unlocked edition, 8 core 4.0ghz
24G of RAM
Nvidia 750 gtx card
2x monitors 19inch and 32 inch
3.8 TB of disk space 3x internal dives (1TB, 2TB, 350GB and external with 500GB)
Total cost so far:
750$
(500$ for the base PC and 250$ in more stuff over 2 years)
