Yeah, I made the con post today. I don't see why not. What night did you need? I won't be rolling in till around 10pm on Thursday.

Thursday is that day. I have Friday through Monday covered, but as I learned from MFF last your, you want to have fun get there before the official con starts. Also connected to the Hilton means using the skywalk to get to the Hyatt. I am assuming if i did use this option it be $50 for that night?

I'm not sure when my friend plans to get there as he might be there a lot earlier than myself, especially if weather screws with my flights. What time were you planning on arriving to the area? Also, I'm not sure if the Hilton is connected to the Hyatt, or what the hotel configuration there is like. I looked at the area on Google maps and didn't see a skyway, though I did see one in the large building/shopping complex in between all the hotels.

Now your friend is coming in before you, perfect, because to me, the earlier the better, I am from S. Chicago, so for me, driving up to Rosemont is like a 1,1/2 to 2 hour drive depending on traffic. I could leave anytime after 4pm CST to meet your friend, assuming the plane (or whatever mode of transportation he arrives on) comes in before your plane should at O-Hare. If such is the case, I should also more have your friend as a contact if I am to likely meet him first for where the room is.
An this is your first furcon in 8 years assuming one of those cons was at MFF then the con is not even in the same hotel back then as it is now. An yes from the Hyatt to the Hilton, and an adjoining parking garage has this Skywalk the PDF & PDF2 better illustrates, so no cold and no having to cross busy streets this way. (one of the few thing MFF 2014 taught me.) I-90 is the Skyway toll road, and I am sure you will do plenty of shopping at the con itself LoL.

Now if this were MFF 2013, when MFF was the weekend before Thanksgiving, then you would have had a major snowstorm problem. I have no clue what in 2 weeks weather will be like sadly.
