What the fuck? Trans Discrimination at work Rant
10 years ago
Yup this is a big ass rant... deal with it.
Today We were supposed to come to work in a Halloween costume.. great. So i go dressed as a witch. I'm wearing a long skirt, I have this really long black wig on, Eyeliner, Black lipstick, Eyeshadow, foundation, powder, bronzer, blush AND mascara on. I really went all out.
Now i'm also wearing a corset because... why not. And a tight, form fitting turtle neck. The corset is doing it's job. As in... Tiny waist And BOOM tits. And i'm not... a small girl up there. 38 D. I'm also wearing an ankle length cardigan because work uniform. WITH my name tag that says ARYANNA right there on display. AND wearing high end perfume!
Still... STILL! i'm getting called things like He, Sir, Him. WHAT THE FUCK!!!! What fucking thing am i wearing... What part of me ANYWHERE is screaming SIR. I'm in FULL MAKE UP. HELLOOOOOO! And this is by Customers, and Co-workers alike. What the shit is this?
I'm getting close to confronting someone about this bullshit because it's getting out of hand. But at the same time i know i'll probably get fired if i "make a scene" or what the fuck ever. GAH!
If you really want to know what "trans-gendered Descrimination" looks like It's that. THAT riiiiiiight there.
But the nuts thing is... I don't even think i have a masculine voice either. It's probably a bit lower then other women. By “a bit Low” I mean Alto. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK! I don’t even understand it.
And just for solidarity https://www.dropbox.com/s/aqrjqgd7x.....86%29.JPG?dl=0 this is a picture of me.

That was years ago...
and even back then... If you hadn't forewarned me about it... I would have Never known you were trans. You were, and very much still are, Beautiful.
How these people are calling you ANY of those masculine descriptors is beyond me.
Call it Descrimination. You're right it is. But I'm also calling it blind stupidity.
I'm so sorry you're going through that.
"Still... STILL! i'm getting called things like He, Sir, Him."
If only English has gender neutral pronouns like e.g. Finnish has, it would make things easier for trans people.
I've seen you before.
I've heard you before.
How can they tell?
You do a lovely job, and I don't understand why this is such a problem with people.
I'll make this public, I respect how you roll because to be brutally honest, I'm a short-fuse, huge temper kinda gal. And it's not something I'm terribly proud of, I've been "not fired, but totally get the fuck out of here" on more than one occasion for calling people out on shit.
