It's not easy. I've been in this situation a couple times before now. Consistently single, but I've had a couple of pets. The last time my former pet informed me just before Thanksgiving that she never actually even wanted to be my pet to begin with. Ruined my holiday season last year. It'll be tough, but it'll be okay. *Hugs*

I know the feeling, I'm 20 years old (I see myself as a submissive pet) and my last year long relantionship ended when I was fourteen after being strangled, consoling him cause he had anger issues and just lost his temper and then him dumping me for a new girl that arrived at our small school. It left me not trusting anyone ever again and I don't want someone else to get all twisted up like I am.

I won't say everythings gonna perfect but I will say things can get better if you let them. Don't dwell on the past, it's set in stone and can't be changed, so don't sit thinking what could have been done different cause it can't. Instead look to the future and all the possibilities ahead of you, I'm sure you're young and will have many many chances ahead of you to find someone suited to you. Don't let the hurt blind you now to the opportunities ahead.

Using SL to find a companion generally isn't the way to go.

I know - it really isnt the SL thing that bothers me, its the fact that my RL Girlfriend broke up with me, hence the single IRL thing too. Thats the crappy part.

Love isn't a speciality here (been single for 4 years now) I've found it easier to cope with the folks who give me thier time mostly my closest friend or family members who keep in contact with me

I know how you feel. I recently got out of a long realationship. Over a year. At the same time I lost almost all my friends of 3 years. My relationship and my friends were all lying to me behind my back. Screwing around with each other and to top it all off stole 300$ from me. So ya I certainly know the feeling. Still just gotta keep on.. find the friends that matter and youll make it thru.
