gauging interest: Limited run of 12X16 canvas prints?

What would be the interest in canvas prints?
If I decided to do them it would be a limited run of either 50 or 100 12X16 canvas prints with an inch boarder(for easier framing etc)
But I would want to know the interest before I committed to buying the products(ink/canvas/etc)

Aparently gauging and gaging are pronounced the same and either can be used(I just looked it up)
