Just over two weeks ago I woke up to find 3 inches of water on the driver's side of my car. It seems that the sunroof drains had failed and instead of draining out of the car, it drained into the car. A few days back and forth with my insurance company and the VW dealership and they declared my car totaled after they determined it was $4800 worth of electrical damage.
So I did get a new car but now I have a monthly car payment which I did not plan on! (When you drive a 2002 though, he get hardly anything from insurance if your car is totaled.)
