Ack! Hopefully, it doesn't go too bad. I had to have a root canal procedure done not too long ago, and to be honest, it really wasn't bad at all. No pain (aside from the shot to numb the area, but even that wasn't bad) and the worst thing was really the time it took to complete. Here's hoping your experience is the same, or better!

I hate dentists with a passion. I remember years ago I had chipped a wisdom tooth, Had to spend Christmas in pain dealing with four pulled teeth, then having all my fillings refilled >< I do not feel bad when i bit him.

Going to the dentist is just so unpleasant, no matter how nice they try to make it seem. Worst procedure I had to do was in my youth when I had to have all four of my wisdoms out. I have foggy memories of it after the fact, the ride home going in and out of consciousness.

Hopefully your visits are quick and painless. :(
