A...winter cleaning?

My goodness...I haven't written any journals on here for over 2 years now!
Boy, this profile is getting dusty too. *Puffs dust everywhere* That needs a SERIOUS update, as well o_o
But, where to start with my news?
I'm employed, for one thing! I'm currently in a temp job, but hopefully I shall at least be able to move on to something more stable with the references and experience I'm getting. Also, it means I shall at last be able to buy a commission from someone at long last - 5 years I've been wanting a commission but have never been able to afford one yet =o
I shall also be attending the 2016 Nordic Fuzz Con, so if you see me there, do please feel free to come over and say hi =] (I'm not so accustomed to hugging random strangers, though, so I'd rather you didn't do it right off the bat ^^;;;)
I'm really looking forward to it though, as it means I shall be getting to meet lots of new furs (never been to anything furry before, not even a furmeet) and I shall be getting to see my wonderful bestie

Hopefully it'll be a worthy experience for you, getting a chance to be at your first furry convention ever.
I know mine definitely will be worth it, having you already there to make it tons better. =3

I'm really looking forward to it too, it should be a blast!! :D But it's so unlike anything I've ever really done before, so I do need you there to make sure I don't regress 10 years and re-grow my shell again. I don't want to be feebly sitting by myself all billy-no-mates, too afraid to talk to people x3
But need you or not, I wouldn't enjoy it half so much if you weren't also going - oh it's going to be awesome, hanging out with you yet again ^////^

Though, sadly, I spoke too soon...I thought this job (I've been at it since late in September) would at least last me until next week; but sadly no I'm leaving it on Friday. I was sent to my current job by an agency, so I'm hoping that even if I can't find myself a new job, they might be able to. =]
