I haven't posted anything in a while. Journal, art, or story. Biggest reason is life has been super busy and I've gotten back into a couple games that take more of my time than I like to admit. Culprits - World of Warcraft and Monster Hunter.
Besides that, I hope everyone had a nice holiday/New Year's. I can't believe it's 2016 already. I have a New Year's Resolution, though I don't admit it to everyone. I will teach myself to draw better this year. Right now my doodles are so rough that I am nearly ashamed to post them online. A friend of mine fusses at me because I berate my art so badly but to me it's embarrassing.
Amusingly, as if my mother knew I was planning on choosing that as my resolution, she got me a nice set of drawing pencils. No. 1, so the lead is not as heavy. Maybe now my sketch lines will erase. That's the biggest problem I have with trying to sketch while I'm on the go. Because of that though, I hope to post a few sketches here and there. Maybe a few shaded things. I'm also looking into getting myself a book or something on 'Learn to draw _____'.
Lastly, I just wanted to mention I have a second Dutch Angel Dragon now. Nova has a sibling ^_^. Her name is Eden, and she's focused on life/healing. But when she's not serious about that she's mischievous and likes to scare or pick on people. I'm working on a partial of her atm. I already have a tail (was bought along with Eden as an adoptable) and I'm working on finding fur to match it so that I can make hand-paws and sock-paws. Perhaps wings. I'm not sure about that yet. I may look online to see if I can find a video on how to make a pair of wings for a partial, or possibly try to commission them. Will definitely be commissioning the head, though. I really REALLY want to get it done by Skypro, but I'll have to wait around till they open again.
