Music Meme, sorry for the radio silence
snow and power issues have been a huge pain in the ass, i have to reset my connection constantly. thank goodness i have Spotify so i can listen to music offline otherwise i think i'd go crazy. the wind is absolutely HOWLING outside. there's another storm brewing for this Saturday too. so uh bye see you in Spring basically (not really but like, i might lose internet for a few more days, just because fuck me)
so i've posted the art i've worked on from my queue, and this music meme to go along with it, because i deserve to have some fun too.
i'm also working on my ref sheet for Max because the art on the one i have is so old it hurts me every time i send it to someone x3
Song that always makes you happy: this
Song you listen to when you’re sad: Going to Georgia cover by Sledding with Tigers
Top 5 songs of an artist of your choosing: The Mountain Goats: Lovecraft in Brooklyn - Lion's Teeth - Beautiful Gas Mask - Fire Editorial - Love, Love, Love
3 most played songs on iTunes or Last.fm, etc: (Spotify doesn't keep track of this, but i listened to Switzerland by The Last Bison a LOT)
Favourite song right now: Unity by TheFatRat
Favourite album of all time: 10,000 Days by Tool
Favourite song of all time: this is absolutely impossible to answer. maybe Paint it Black?
Favourite artist of all time: also impossible to answer. i'll go with The Doors
A memory associated to an artist of your choosing: Ghost in the Machine by Badministrator - getting really good at League of Legends after a year of playing and learning and effort. hitting level 30, going into ranked as a support main (good and bad associated with that). League's a game me and my friends play together all the time. and there ARE good moments in the community. nothing beats winning a game with and against a good team. i didn't ever think i'd like a MOBA as much as i like this one. now i'm a Braum main and play mostly all tanks, top five being Braum, Blitz, Bard, Garen, Shen; but i also play a mean Maokai, Hecarim, and Thresh. i fit the role of top/supp perfectly.
Song that you feel you must always dance to: Barbara Streisand by Duck Sauce
First album you bought: A Hangover You Don't Deserve by Bowling for Soup
A song that reminds you of someone you love: The Gambler by Fun.
A song from your childhood: Day-O
A song that reflects your personality: Short Change Hero by The Heavy
Most hated song of all time: Don't Stop Believin' i fucking HATE this song
Most overrated song: Stay the Night by Zedd i do NOT like this song and i can't really say why
Most underrated song: The Woods by San Fermin
Most overrated artist: One Direction ugh
Most underrated artist: CARBON LEAF-i've seen these guys live, they're amazing.
Favourite vocal performance: Run to You by Pentatonix
Favourite guitar solo: While my Guitar Gently Weeps by Santana
A song no one would expect you to love: Human After All by Daft Punk
A song you get stick for liking: Edge of a Revolution by Nickelback
A song you’d like at your funeral: Across the Universe or Into the West
A song you’d like for your first dance: depends on the theme of the party this if it's fancy, thisif it's not.
Karaoke song: I Will Survive
Favourite summertime song: The Fallen by Franz Ferdinand
Favourite Christmas song: White Christmas by Bing Crosby
An artist you used to love but don’t really listen to now: Within Temptation - i used to be all about them.

Dream band line up: The Cat Empire - Caro Emerald - Caravan Palace
Favourite musician/band from your country: i dunno Sun Kil Moon maybe?
Which genre of music features most heavily in your collection: indie? just cause i can paint a broad stroke with that between folk and electronic stuff and post-rock
Which genre(s) do you try to avoid: country. but let me be clear here, i know a lot of the country sound is present in the folk music i love so much, it's more the boring lyrics about fishing, tractors, and crying in your beer that i don't like.
A song that is always stuck in your head: OUR HOUSE
