Aside from the new cost, you're making it sound as though the total cost per head depends on how many heads show up. If that's the case, then won't people drop out in fear that others will also drop out and raise the prices by doing so? What about those who decide to stick with it, will they have to pay more than $25 after some of us drop out? If so, wouldn't they want to drop out too?

I can't speak for everyone, but as a college student with hardly a job, I can't afford $25+ (the plus represents a stock market crash when others drop out).

If counting myself in would reduce the final cost, I'd be willing. I can't do $25 but if getting several more people means dropping the price, I might be able to help. Just kinda depends on what the final outcome would be. How many people would it take to drop the price below $15?

As it stand guys, I foreseen many dropping out. The prices are pretty solid cause they had to enforce the dine in costs as well since the place is a dine-in theater. If you can't make it now then I'm sorry.. I set my expectations to high with this one. More than likely gonna be cancelling the event. If I was rich and could just buy it all by myself I would have. I tried, I failed. Lesson learned. Moving on.

I don't want you to Cancel. You should offer a Sponsership level to keep the costs down. Also I can provide you some money if you need any up to $250 to make sure this event happens. (As long as I get 4 seats out of that $250) Please talk to me sometime after work to see what is going on. (About 4PM since I have to see a Therapist for my back pain)

It's never a good idea to tell establishments like this that you want to buy out the space for something. That automatically makes the price sky-rocket, because now they want you to pay for everything; including the profits they might not have ordinarily gotten, since there's no guarantee that everyone who goes there will order something. I've been to dine-in theaters before, and only once have I ordered anything there. So unless they force people to buy food there, they have no way to guarantee that their customers will order food. Unless I'm missing something, somehow.

It's better to just get a group together and get all of your tickets online (if you can), or go there with plenty of time before the movie starts and have everyone buy their tickets there. I'd aim for a few days after it premiers, there'll be less of a chance it'll be sold out before you get there that way.

Then again, I've never been to this place before, so it could operate on a completely different set of rules. If that's the case, then my advice could be wrong. And if that's so then I apologize, I'm just basing this on my own experiences with dine-in theaters.

I did not have that information beforehand, but yes if you want something like that to happen then you do need to buy out the room. Unless you can work something out with the theater as a promotional thing (we're talking about a furry movie, here, so showing up in fursuits could be used by them as part of a promotional deal), where the group shows up in full fursuit to help 'advertise' the movie as a promotional deal, and maybe the theater gives you a discount on the pricing.

But other than that, I agree that you'd need to buy out the space for something like that to happen. I just thought that he was trying to get a group of furs together to go watch a movie, I had no idea that fursuits would be involved.

Just found this out as I'm currently living around Kansas City right now. I was hoping there's at least some furries here and perhaps a Zootopia meet. But, oh well. Maybe you could try AMC. They've been allowing it in other states so far. There's an AMC in Olathe and another in Overland Park.
