I think I need to play Animal Crossing and Smashbros at last

But no, seriously. Last year I bought the New 3DS and ever since then it has only been out of the box ONCE to set up a profile and web connection. I need to get something to play on it. Honestly I'm just afraid really. Too many recent games have just been a flat out disappointment I've stepped away from the gaming community as a whole, often seeing a gaming as out right dead. Surely there must be something out there to play on this system? If not, at least I'll be ready for the next Pokemon game.
What sorts of genres are you most into? I can give you my recommendations.

Heh, just realized that a lot of the Nintendo games have colons in their titles. XD
Also, if you're into JRPGs and tactical games, definitely look into Fire Emblem and Bravely Default.
