Star Trek Movie

Just saw the new Star Trek movie today. I won't spoil the plot, but it's a real kick-*ss movie! What an enormous difference from the first Star Trek movie that was a huge bore-fest. I have a feeling that some Star Trek fans won't be happy with everything, but I consider myself to be a pretty serious fan and I liked it. Quite a few in-jokes and references to the original series. I recommend it!
I also saw "Monsters vs. Aliens" a little while back and really liked it. Very fast paced plot, lots of action and lots of gags. Excellent animation and effects. Very well done movie and enormously fun to watch.
Looking forward to the new Terminator movie, the Transformers movie, "Up" and "Ice Age 3." What a great summer for movies! So much better than last year.

Woo! I might see the Star Trek movie too. I'm no Star Trek fan, but I did start watching a few episodes lately. It;s always very enjoyable to get the inside jokes, but even tho I won't get them, the movie still sounds excellent.

Yeah, it's a good sci-fi action movie even if you're not a Star Trek fan. Definitely fun if you like that type of movie. Plus there's lots of stuff blowing up, so you can hardly go wrong.
