So Offbeatr is shutting down completely on February 5th.

However, the site is not providing me information that I need, (email and pledge amount associated with said email) but I am continuing to work on gathering everything I can before they delete it. I do not mean to cause alarm, however this is a problem I am facing. Every time I try to access my list of pledges made to Ex Gender from all 268 supporters, I am immediately given a 504 bad gateway.

If anyone can help me figure how to access my very important information before the 5th, I would very much appreciate it.

Thank you Offbeatr for providing this unique opportunity for me. However your site is only partially functional as of now, and I do need that information backed up (something I apologize for not doing earlier)

Tried using the Offbeatr system to send out emails to everyone about this , and even that results in a big fat 404. I am concerned that these people are simply cutting and running for some reason or another.

That's exactly what they are doing. Every step of dealing with them has been extremely shady and unprofessional in my experience (false flags on my account, failure to send payment unless repeatedly prompted to do so, the absolutely disgusting practices in their storefront). It's no longer profitable, so they're pulling out as fast as they can.

So in addition to trying everything to salvage this very important data, I am also forced to have a worst case scenario outcome laid out because of this shady BS.

Not sure how to fix the 504, but is Offbeatr the only one that reports that error?

That's what I figured. Does hitting refresh (F5) let you brute force your way in?

A 504 bad gateway is from the systems hosting it. If it's like I helped set up way back, they used some CGI (or FastCGI) code to run the backend so if that is failing, the web server would return a 504 bad gateway. Not incredibly helpful, but I'm quietly checking to see if they still host at the same place since I've got friends there. (=

Which info are you trying to access?

I'm able to view Project Transactions for my project after some time spent loading.

The notice they sent out stated they were working to resolve the site errors, but if enough people already jumped ship it may be too little too late.

i am trying to access the listed info that contains all pledges made by 268 supporters complete with pledge amount and email associated with that pledge.

Damn that seems pretty shady, when did they announce they would be closing? Couldn't they have given more than a week notice? lol

A month would be reasonable, say servers are all shutting down on the 28th, but that's not even 4 days of warning. Four days is literally what you'd do when you have enough time to pack up shop, delete/shred any records and book a planet ticket somewhere that isn't where you are located, haha.

Jeez, that inconsistency is concerning on it's own. I'm hoping that difference is simply between the pledges made and the actual money collected from people. or something silly like that.

Hmm, having looked at the site we can at least account for $13190 of the total support so it's a matter of finding where the other $226 has gone... still, I'm annoyed that the information doesn't seem to be hard recorded SOMEWHERE for who donated what.

Right, the most important thing is associating email with donation amount. I really wish I had access to emails. because user name alone is not the most useful considering the site itself is going down entirely.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. I do know where they host (if they haven't moved) -- I got the call to help set the site up when I worked there. I'll check with a former coworker of mine to see if they're on a service plan he could log in and fix stuff on.
