[Mature content] Lenny Kravitz - Fly Away music video
9 years ago
TLDR: I found a true-HD quality, uncensored version of the music video for Lenny Kravitz's "Fly Away", here: https://player.vimeo.com/video/1404.....amp;autoplay=0
It's great, it's sexy, has boobs and fun music :D
Every now and then we all get a bit nostalgic. I often get nostalgic to music videos I used to watch in my youth on music programmes, like MTV or VIVA. We're talking classics like early Rammstein, that song for Titanic that no one knows XD and (oh dear lord) "Come with me" by Puff Daddy (go go 1998 'Zilla!).
Another of those is "Fly Away" by Lenny Kravitz. I loved this music video for both the music and the wild party images accompanying it. And, well, hey topless babes! :o In day-time TV!
Unfortunately, and obviously, on popular video services we only have the toned-down, SFW versions with blurry in strategic places. And that's ok! What's not ok: it's really hard to find "the original". I mean, you can but they are medium to poor quality. I checked out like a dozen of various sites Google threw at me with little success in finding a good upload.
Now, because I can be a stubborn person I just kept on looking for any better quality versions. And find I did! I came across a personal site of cinematographer Martin Coppen, who appears to have worked on several music videos, including "Fly Away" (http://www.martincoppen.com/lenny-k.....vitz-fly-away/). And embedded on this site was this:
Uncensored, HD-720p quality (basically source quality) version of the "Fly Away" music video: https://player.vimeo.com/video/1404.....amp;autoplay=0
Fun, useless fact/observation I involuntarily made while looking for this video in those dozens of sources - it seems like there are 3 versions of the music video: the boobtastic uncensored, an "intermediate" - that simply seems like the previous one censored out (but is not, some parts were cut out and replaced) and most modern "family and youtube friendly" version with two brief censored shots and nothing else. What's more, censored versions use censored scenes not present in the uncensored one. What happened there, how much source material there was and what were the production decisions - wikipedia will not tell you :P
