I'm a stay-at-home mama of three kids. My eldest will be 8 soon, middle kiddo just turned 4 and the youngest will be 2 soon. The oldest two are autistic, as am I. The youngest is too young to tell, but she sure reminds me of myself when I was little. I wouldn't doubt one bit that she will fall somewhere on the spectrum too. The middle one has the highest degree of special needs, as he is low-verbal. He's my heart. Brilliant little boy.. he will change the world some day.

I've been doing art-for-hire since 2002. I'm pretty well self-taught, aside from some art classes in high school. I wouldn't call myself a professional artist, it's more like a hobby turned extra income. I've drawn since I could hold a crayon.. as an awkward and very lonely teen in an age before internet I spent hours in my room drawing. It's part of me.

Aside from art, I love spending time at home and in nature. We have chickens and ducks, fruit trees and a vegetable garden. We try to live a simple life. I'm very interested in permaculture and the creation of food forests. Everything we do around our home is based on that. Creating a property that sustains us.

I don't asign to any one religion, but I do feel I am a spiritual being. A small cog in a bigger whole. I enjoy studying various religions, learning in general is something I enjoy. Life and death facinate me, I find there is such beauty in it all. All beings have their place and use. Very rarely do I kill a bug, I often just set them free outside, even wasps and spiders.

All of these things are represented in my art: life, love, children, nature, animals..
