QUESTIONS
1. When did you get into art?
I've been drawing all my life. Coincidentally, even looking at pictures of when I was like.. 5, I was already drawing fantasy stuff. Mermaids, fairies, talking animals, witches.
2. What art-related sites have you ever signed up for?
VCL, Elfwood, DeviantArt, Playmouse, FurAffinity, Weasyl, Sofurry, Inkbunny, InkedFur, FurBuy, Furbid, Etsy.. Uhm, I think that's all? *laugh* I've been around for a while That's not even considering secondary things like game graphics, then I'd have to add GaiaOnline, Neopets, Furcadia and all these little upstart pet sites that I don't recall the names of. I would end up doing customs for people for game points pretty much always.
3. Show us your oldest piece of art you have on hand.
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/19320086 I have some old stuff, but they're incredibly blurry webcam pictures from 15 years ago. I don't want to make you suffer through that.
4. What defines your artistic style?
Soft, semi-realistic, fairly detailed. Lots of 'slice of life' scenes.
5. Do you practice other styles/have you tried other styles in the past?
All the time, I mix it up It keeps you learning.
6. What levels of artistic education have you had?
High school art class, a few classes in college but that was teacher academy.. so not really focused on our skill, more on how to teach children how to create art and refreshing our knowledge on artistic concepts like hot/cold, color wheel etc. I did apply to a graphic design college and got through the entry exam, but decided not to go after all.
7. Show us at least one picture you drew or sketched recently that you did not put on a public site.

8. What is your favorite piece that you have done?
Oh, don't make me choose! I think any piece that has stood the test of time. I have pieces that I did 10+ years ago that I do not hesitate to post now.. I think that says something.
9. What is your least favorite piece that you have done?
Probably the adult stuff that was really out of my comfort zone. My most horrible one a rabbit herm with this ginormous wiener.. I drew it 10+ years ago and still haunts me.
10. What do you like most about your art?
The ideas I come up with. They're pretty unique, I think. My mind works a little different than most people's, which is good for art.
11. What do you like least about your art?
I can't draw a clean line to save my life. I admire those that can.
12. Have you ever considered taking commissions?
Haha, have been doing that since 2002!
13. Are you looking to pursue a career in art?
Career is a bit much of a statement, it'll probably be my source of income in some form for the rest of my life. I'm a shrewd business woman.. ehm.. Ok, I sell stuff. I dabble in my art, hatch ducklings to sell, sell stuff on eBay and yard sale sites.. I do what I have to do
14. What do you like drawing the most?
Nature and all of its wondrous creations.
15. What do you like drawing the least?
Tech-stuff. Robots, modern buildings, cars..
16. Do you draw more fanart or original art? If fanart, what fandom do you draw the most of?
Original art
17. What would you absolutely refuse to draw?
Disgusting things :-/ Kiddie.. sex.. poop.. stuff. Fetishes that are just a bit too far out there.
18. What is your purpose for drawing?
Fun, relaxation, income, spiritual growth. Many things
19. What medium/program do you use the most in your art?
Wacom Intuos 3 and Open Canvas 4.5 plus
20. How would you rank your art? (poor, mediocre, good, etc.)
Decent, always room for improvement.
21. Do you believe there is such a thing as "bad art"?
Yes. Absolutely. Some people are drawn by the idea of money, and jump straight to drawing fanart porn with a mouse in Paint. Gotta step back, pick up a pencil and get a feel for drawing. Guess you can't really call it art anyway..
22. List at least one of your "artspirations".
Colors. That sounds so stupid, but when I see a color palette I like it just fires me up. It can be in nature outside, or a picture somewhere, a piece done by someone else.
23. What do you think you could stand to improve on?
Color theory.. I often end up with pretty flat pictures, not taking enough risk with contrast. I don't always know what looks good with what, colors clash or wash out. I guess that's why a color palette that hits me is such an inspiration, it's my white whale.
24. Do you have a shameful art past? (recolor sprite comics, tracing art, etc.)
The terrible awful porn I drew? Like, awful awful? Or the angsty teenage stuff with lots of blood and mutilation? Or just unethical-ness? I believe I did some Furcadia portraits WAAAY back based on Jay Naylors stuff, we're talking 2003 or so. Someone gave me a bunch of files and said "Make these into remap-able portraits" Okay! I don't think it looked much like his work anymore by the time I was done haha And I don't think the set was ever finished either.. so it just sort of disappeared. It likely only exists on a backup CD somewhere.
25. Draw a picture!
Pfft. Maybe tomorrow
