It's pretty good, little-to-no controller support though, i remember when it came out and there was a grind to get a pikachu from viridian forest.

I'd say try it out. If they keep on adding content, that will just makes it even better. Hopefully there's not too many ridiculous "Noobs" on it, though.

You know the games based off of the fire Red and leafGreen but I think modded to have more of the newer pokes. There's a lot of spam but other wise it's not bad...I had a bit of fun playing with a buddy but not sure how it is solo. Didn't get too far if I remember correctly but I'd give it a try if only for a hour or 2

Well it is totally illegal, sure they're not making a profit off of it, but it's not Fair Use because it's not a parody.

Oh I think they do make money, they sell boosters to level up faster, well last time I played that is,
but my point is, not worth it, once you develop a team and the game taken down, it's gone, all of it!
And no you don't fight together with friends, all what happens is that you will see alot of people but game is EXACT Same copy of the previous game,
So it is seriously not worth wasting time on it when you can play the real thing, minus not seeing alot of people, interaction is non-existing,

Like, what are you going to do? fight other players/friends? you can do that with your current Pokemon game!
Trade with them? same as above,
Adventure together? Weh, your battles are your own, and your friend cannot do anything to help you but wait for you,

I heard that Sun and Moon weren't officially announced and it's a rumor right now.

Which is why I mentioned the Pokemon Direct, ALOT are waiting for it, for sure, 20 years of Pokemon, SHOULD be a big announcement!

It's probably going to be any good for a few months at best, before Nintendo starts yelling legal threats and the project is immediately taken down... as was the case with old Pokenet / Pokemon Global years ago. Looks good though... hope they survive for as long as possible!

if you like playing pokemon firered/emerald

then you'll like the game.

however the playerbase is often toxic like any mmo.

though not everyone is like that.

They have been up for years also so i don't think any takedowns will happen soon.

I've played my share amount of runs through the game.

but like i said it's no different then firered/emerald, it's just with people and if you get the SS/HG roms you can have following pokemon sprites.

Also if your looking into a pokemon mmo thats based on the games but slightly different.

look at pokemon revolution online. nicer graphics, similar story, but changed slightly to make it seem a bit more fresh, and harder difficulty then just steam rolling your way through.

It's mediocre at best. I played it last year and didnt get far, just because it's laggy, not to mention the moves dont actually show up (in terms of graphical animations eg all you see is the text of what move was used and then you take damage, which i felt took away a large part of the game for me.

But by all means give it a shot if you'd like.

I think I remember trying it out once and wasn't impressed.
It might have been something different though.

I've played it sense it came out, but when they introduced the slot machines.... a lot of people where banned for no reason, Sadly I was one of them =(
