Hard vore? Ye, that's the kind I much prefer personally, I just find the aesthetics (and usually colour choices) more appealing.

I like the aesthetics of it as well (especially with a lot of blood generally, but I do also like the look of the bloodless, artistically unraveling or cut into pieces idea, but that's usually a solo image whenever it's done and probably falls into just 'gore' instead).

Same! I have a deep fondness for varying shades on the 'red' spectrum, so gore of just about any kind falls into that, hard vore included. I also find it a lot more fun to draw, cathartic I guess? And really, if you want to draw it, you should. People who don't like it can leave or deal with it and people who do enjoy it will be here anyway uvu

Being very into soft vore (the non bloody kind) as a fetish, I can really only speak for myself since so many reasons exist that very person to person.


For my the big draws are the opertunity to seduce characters normally not interested in being eaten alive to accept and enjoy it often through sexual teasing and a gental approach.

Another is the extremes of risk for the prey creature, in my case I sometimes regurgitate prey animals if they protest once eaten, but the risk of the wolf's body just going for it and treating them as a meal is high aswell, kind of a battle of biology vs willpower.

The other is the sexual aspects of slowly engulfing a whole form, intimate contact over the entire form nose to tail that requires effort and distorts the predator with a satisfying sense of completion once the prey is tucked away.


As for the bloody hard vore.... Being a feral wolf to me that's just eating. Seeing a creature that has over-eaten in this way is attractive to me, though the factors leading to that condition of a different and in a lot of ways not erotic to me personally so has far less of a charge.

Slightly plausible size difference and mostly realistic anitomical behaviors just made a bit more extreme, seeing as a wolf can swallow a rabbit sized animal alive, but not quite going to fit anything near that big. Same size vore is difficult for me to enjoy though... Simply too implausible.

Oral vore is my personal fav, male genital vore and Breast vore I have difficulty relating to the concepts of and can't really get into. And anal/unbirthing are more of a full body sexual insertion thing from my perspective since its not much different from fisting if it's simply the act of insersion though I know some people like it to go further into forms of absorption and such but that's a whole other story.

I've only ever dealt with snake and dragon character vore, so to see it done with that larger feral wolf character is interesting and opens my eyes to what else it could be. I have been considering making a separate account to take vore commissions and using one of my species to sort of do potential vore ych, just to see how it would play out.

I had no idea there was such a thing as genital or breast vore. I don't think that sounds like something I'd want to give a try in art at all, but still it's always fun to learn something new! I doubt I'd do anal vore or unbirthing either, ahaha, but I never thought of those as vore even though I guess they kind of are.

I also appreciate your input! Especially from a person who is into the type that I didn't really understand much myself. I feel like maybe I understand a bit better now (that it is more about the intimacy/prolonged contact and willpower than maybe about actually eating?). Previously I'd been thinking about it a little too technically, I think--I have a pet ball python in real life who obviously swallows things whole (though they are dead when she does it) and I think I was trying to see the appeal from that kind of standpoint.
I've also seen genital vore and absorption... Obviously I can't pretend to understand it when I don't, but I'd make a guess and say many elements of what makes oral vore appealing to you also makes those types appealing to them? In maybe a less realistic and pushing the boundaries more kinda way.

I don't think I understand my attraction to hard vore quite as well as you understand yours, haha, so forgive me, but I think for me it's more....intensely aesthetically appealing rather than sexual? The idea of tasting things so vivid like blood rushing over the tongue and through the teeth, and ripping skin and cracking bone is really appealing to me. Actual swallowing seems less important? And even less important than that is the idea of an enlarged belly, to me. But I couldn't really tell you why....

Thank you for asking this. I am not into the vore scene in a sexual way but I adore drawing it for some reason. I've never drawn hard vore but have contemplated giving it a try for commissions. Drawing vore is so fascinating for some reason for me, especially the initial "setup" and having to draw large maws and teeth.

I've always wondered what about it is truly " arrousing " and I'm eager to see any answers you may get here.

Yes, I like teeth and mouths too! Especially mouths that are thin, but can open wide and go very far back. (If you hadn't noticed in my art already....XD ) Maybe also have long tongues?

Right right, I have a hard time explaining WHY I like drawing it but I'm happy to hear you feel the same way! Most people are just kinda pushy to me and attempt to convince m e I like it sexually, but I truly do not. The sexual appeal is not there, but as an artist it is so very fun. I guess it's kind of like how a LOT of artists will sometimes sit there and just doodle an eye. It's a fun practice and is for some strange reason very pleasing and relaxing.

I greatly enjoy working with the anatomy of a mouth even if I'm not that great at it yet, and love working with saliva and fluids and anything that needs lots of varying levels of shine. The insides of a mouth or belly usually has to have all those aspects, so maybe that's why!

Yes~ Many artists will draw a basic body or head gesture and then start detail on the eye... I actually.. draw the gesture and then immediately go to the bitey parts, haha. (Though I do also like eyes) Canid sets of teeth are more interesting to me, but unless the mouth is closed that's where I start on pretty much any animal :P Because...it's fun, and it's exposing part of their skeleton which is also hella rad. Actually, places that I like drawing most (Thin long toothy mouths and boney feet and legs) are also where the structure/skeleton is revealed the most....huh.

I wasn't sure if there was much of an audience for it, since most things I can seem to find on search are soft vore (or still otherwise have to do with swallowing primarily)

Hard vore in the context of "a feral or anthro predator character taking down their prey" would be very interesting to see, and it's something that doesn't seem to come up very often in my inbox. But if the prey creature is also anthro and human level intelligence, that would start to get me squeamish. I don't know, if both characters have human physical and mental characteristics then it might start to almost seem like cannibalism to me?

Soft vore however I often find quite cute and interesting. But only if its non-violent and doesn't involve bodies being stretched out of shape.

Nah, I'm not super interested in making anthro vore of any kind. Unless maybe a werewolf? It's kind of expected of them, but they're much more 'monstery' than the average anthro anyhow.
