Tea

What kind of tea do you like and can you recommend some to any passersby?
Edit: Maybe to seem a bit more welcoming I should introduce my preferences,
I enjoy Oolongs and Greens in their natural state, hot and cold.
On the other side I also enjoy (as of recently) creams and sugars in some, specifically the sweet flavored kinds.
I love many many kinds, though.

FA+

I had a mint chocolate recently and it was so nice. I am going for strawberry next time.
Not a fan of herbal or green tea but anything else, sign me up =D
Herbals are lower on my list as well haha.
Also -peeks your front page- Cali! My favorite tea comes from the tea leaf and coffee bean! called Winter Dream! It's winter only but it's just amazing!
Ughhh, and winter's just ended. I'll see if I can remember that for a year and check it out hahaa.
- I have a hoard of it since we don't have coffee beans near me in Kansas XD-
And then I'll get it in person as well heehee.
I really like:
masala chai (only milk!! no water!), jasmine green tea (with honey), earl grey (black, with a slice of lemon), lady grey (with milk)
runners up:
peach tea, green tea, english breakfast (with almond milk), rose tea (with milk)
The masala chai fits in with the kinds I've been making recently so I must include it sometime soon, thank you!
(all of them are so good.)
it's entirely likely that you also had a diff sort of chai *'v'*
I was turned off from it from one single time I've had chai, I was very close-minded.
I have had a lot of spiced teas recently that makes me believe so.
One includes roasted rice in them and Hojicha is roasted in a different way and that's my fav.
Ahh jasmine is also pretty good but I haven't tried too many just yet so I don't know to much ;^; (One dimsum place combined jasmine and chrysanthemum and that's quite different .A.)
But I quite love black teas for the most part~
Oooh, also never tried chrysanthemum (although I've tried juice and I wasn't too fond lol), but I wouldn't be opposed to it~
Yay black teas. <3
For green teas, I'd suggest trying their Strawberry Grapefruit Xue Long. Room temp-iced, its a nice, fruity drink that I don't feel guilty drinking since its sweet before any added sugar. It also is amazing hot, and personally i think the heat actually makes the flavor stronger.
For black teas, their Joy tea is a nice peach/apricot flavored black, I imagine it would make a nice sun tea.
But I really love the Black Dragon Pearl tea. easy to measure since its in rolled balls, and a full flavor perfect for a mid day pick up. best when hot.
(this tea package was one of the best christmas gifts i've gotten in the past 3 years.)
I'll try out the ones you mentioned, thanks!
Whites are actually the lesser of the teas I get, usually because they have more fruity flavors in general, but I really do like the pure whites, just less than the others lol.
I went to a tea house with a short lesson on the different kinds and a sampler of them, and they were all so good from white to black, except the pu-erh which is too fishy.
But those ones are expensive, coming from a fancy tea house with ~reservations~.
The fishy flsvor is a part of how it's prepared, I think it's like fermented black tea. I biught one some time ago and didn't know what the pu-erh was, but it wasn't bad. I guess it depends. But it's a weird flavor I wouldn't get again haha.
It's a brand of hight quality tea with original mixes.
My favourite is the one named Prince Vladimir
And here are what we can find in it :
Russian blend of black China teas with scents of bergamot, lemon, grapefruit, vanilla and spices
If you're a big fan of tea, you should definitly try them!
(Not for an everyday purpose, as it's a bit pricey x3x )
The price with shipping isn't bad for the tin!
My loose leaf tea lasts a ton longer than others I have anyway, hehehh.
Yeah, I still find that reasonable, it's worth the price for me.
And I realized that high quality tea is more "powerful" than regular tea and that you need a lot less for a mug.
I don't know if oyu see what I mean x3x
I really love everything with lemon in it
And it smell is just delicious, I love opening the package just to get the smell X,D
The other one I got is Troïka and my dad got the one nammed Anastasia in a gift and I do like them both.
I really think that I'm going to get addicted to this brand x,D
All their original mixes smell really great.
One of my local store sell the whole line so I got to smell them all!
I understand! You're very right.
I saw a lot of enticing flavors on the site, I may get others after this one~
I love smelling tea, that's so cool!
And it smells sooo good. Thank you for bringing it up.
And oohhhh boy the samples might just captivate me as well. :S
You're very welcome my dear, it's always a pleasure <3
Haha me too, they are so many that sound interesting and tasty !
Sounds fantastic. ♡
your watches have really good taste!
as for my personal favorite, I love Darjeeling <3
(also could you do everyone a favor and keep this journal. going to add this to my favorites haha)
Indian teas are really good, I think Assam may be my favorite, but Darjeeling is up there.
Totally keeping the journal, it's a valuable resource haha.
And I do love the golden monkey as well~
