NOTE: This may be edited a lot to add people I’ve forgotten or names I didn’t have yet, there were so many people I shared this wonderful weekend with so it’s hard to gather all the memories in one go at this time. If I did forget let me know, because it was not intentional and I can assure you, your moment with me was memorable! Also some details are omitted because they’re just too private ;)

I don’t even know where to start, this con was just so wonderful it was more than hard to tear myself away from it at the end. I learned a lot about my inner thoughts through conversations I had all three days of the con and I feel as though I know what I need to do next. As far as the con goes I’ll do my absolute best to summarize.

Thursday:

 Welnis  amixeduppuppy  Uzanti and I departed around 3pm for the con hotel. After checking in we met up with  terminalfox as well as  foz and  giztehcookiefox all the way from the UK. It was a pleasure to meet them. We then met up with  mazeryena and  bowser525 and all went for dinner at Montana’s, it was St. Pattie’s so we all had green beer. We then sort of just chilled and the room and shared a few drinks before bed.

Friday:

The first four hours of the con admittedly sucked. We were dumb enough to forget to pre-reg and had to spend two hours in line waiting for our badge. Then mixedupup and myself had to set up for the art show, and then I did a food run that took way longer than it should have. I at least got a few sketches from the dealer’s room before it closed which was a lucky consolation. After all the sucky stuff had settled I met up with  Branwyn and his mate/friends and had a nice long conversation involving music, politics and another range of very interesting topics. They had to go for dinner soon after but was very happy we managed to meet up.

I then headed over to Pocket and Giz’s room for some Drinking card games and pizza, which was all quite awesome. Met up with HellDoradoLion and  KeyLimeYogurt  loomer and his roommate finally! As soon as my mate was rested up from his busy shift (being staff and all) we went back to our room and threw probably the biggest party of the weekend. The room was packed! Among some people I got to see for the first time that weekend were  Netrogo his awesome wife who's fur name isn't on me right now,  cooper Martini and  Treznor1138 as well as many others I’m sure my silly brain is absent of after all those late nights. We really partied hard and I’m surprised I managed to awake the next morning xD

Saturday:

Day started as Canadian as possible with a Timmie’s run and then it was back to the con to check on my art show pieces. I met two rather lovely ladies in the art show room who’s fursona names I don’t have on me and don’t wish to use their real names without permission, but was very happy to hang on and off with them the three afternoons. I also had the pleasure of using the guest stool at  LilMissBunBun and  TheRainbowTroll 's table, managing to get some sketchbook art from both and talk a lot with Rainbow and  kougerai Shout out to  ElunaOdis who I got to talk with as well.

Saw the fursuit parade from the dealer’s room and much to my surprise managed to hang at the table nearly until the room closed. It was amazing just how incredibly fast hanging with those four made the day go by! Also got to briefly meet  saucy and buy some prints and charms, was happy I got to stop by ^^ My group then went for a huge dinner at Jack Astor’s which ended up being quite hilarious and our awesome waiter sold us on some really silly mugs he had a hard target to sell.

Next welnis and I visited Brawnwyn’s room party for a while and got some R&R after his long day, then headed back to our room for some hanging. We ended up doing a 2am run to Subway and the whole day just ended with an amazing convo mixeduppup and I had while roaming the con space until 6am!

Sunday:

Immediate headache, no voice, my day is ruined… until suddenly Tim Horton’s! After a brief hour of feeling like crap I got an amazing second wind and returned to the dealer’s room where I spent another full afternoon with the fab four (I’m sooo lame). I got the biggest pleasant surprise when  serenadeds showed up for the afternoon and had lunch with myself and Welnis Was so happy to see her again, it had been far too long! I also got to talk many times with  frostscar which was amazing, I have really missed being around him, he is a very long time and dear friend.

After the con was done we all went swimming and just relished on the joy of such a beautiful weekend we had all had. We then ended the night with a room party that was surprisingly double the size of our party on Saturday night. It all ended around 2am so the boys could get some sleep and a new found friend of mine (still needing to find the fur name ^^) spent the last two hours of the last con day just talking about life and our different experiences. It was her first fur con and she felt such a strong mix of emotions from seeing what conventions can do to one’s heart.

After that it was bed, wake up, shower and a drive home to a week of Pocket and Giz visiting our little home. I was a wreck last night with a lot of post con feels, but I think after a shift or two of work, I’ll get back into the routine of being a boring human again *sigh*
