More Ironclaw on the way!

Ironclaw is a traditional tabletop RPG, with a bit more flexibility baked into it and a lot more love for history and low(er) fantasy than your average D&D-alike. It's a great time and I love talking about it so if you have questions, throw them at me!

And if you enjoyed Ironclaw I imagine you'll enjoy Urban Jungle even more, given its early to mid-century noir subject matter. ^^
In brief: status effects are no longer 'save or lose', melee got nice things, casting got hit with several flavors of nerf-bat, and the mechanics are settings-neutral, where mechanics are completely separate from flavor. This means you can run a game in anything from steampunk to space opera to classic fantasy, just change the names to preserve the guilty. Healbot is no longer a mandatory role because every class has the capacity to have self-healing built in, but having a character devoted to healing can provide mid-combat restoration to mitigate problems. Just about every class is capable of dishing out respectable damage, depending on how it is built. So you can build a class for damage, or for tanking, or for crowd control, or for healing, or for several other jobs to be done in combat. But you'll never be able to make a character that can do ALL of them with a single character.
