I don't think Euro is better in general, it's just that I'm living in europe and it's the currency I have to pay everthing with :)

Just my own buyer's point of view is that currency doesn't matter. Some sellers want payment in euros, some in dollars, but I have never not bought something just because payment is in dollars. (I use euros myself in Finland.) Paypal exchange rates are a bit rough sometimes so dollar priced items end up costing a bit more. But not that much that it would matter when talking about typical art commission prices.

If you use euros yourself, I'd say that take commission payments in euros too. Otherwise there might be double charges by paypal if buyer is also using euros. First buyer's euros are converted to dollars, then you change them back to euros. No point in that :)

I'd say it's always better to use the currency of your own when accepting commissions as it's better for you in the end to receive the money in the format that you can actually use. It doesn't really affect me, as an Aussie I'm getting screwed over by any other currency in common use given how weak the exchange rate is lately.

It's all about exchange rates so far the euro is like what 10 20 cents stronger then the dollar so people who use dollars are Gona feel like ere paying for an item but since Europe is your home you should be using euro
