Ah, that game is truly something! Lots of fun ahead. If you're unable to find a server, I'd recommend you tweak with the settings. Default settings are... beyond horrible for two people.

Yes it's a great game, I had so much fun but it was also frustrating in the end when everything got destoyed what you've build up during a week. We made little changes on stability of food and application rate but that's it, the rest of settings are default. But the others don't want more changes at the moment as they want to keep that level of difficulty.

Very fun game, haven't played in a while, without the right settings it could take hours to do anything, remember having to switch with clanmates on a 12 hour tame lol

LOOOOOVE ARK, the best mods to probably ease your life is Stacks mod, the rest you can adjust via in-game settings to make things better such as XP and rates. Those alone can make your life alot easier and enjoyable.

Wait this game has user hosted servers?

Tried it last year... sold it after less than a week because I didn't know what to do and got killed many times. I wasted my money in that game...

This is the game I play the most, I could join you for some fun, but I'm very mostly playing on official pve servers. I like the difficulty of official rates, I learned to play with it.

You could join the Supreme Ark servers. They have a cluster with all the maps! The settings are increased but for the better! I think you will really enjoy our community, alot of players are always ready to help new comers! And most of us have like 4000 hours! XD

I do have a server with me and 3 others, with boosted values.
However i am fairly certain you can host one locally and have others join your game, with the option of tweaking all values, taming speed etc.
Only difference with that over a server is that it's only ever up when you play the game ofc.

If you'd like to note me, I can send you everything you need to know about Ark. Have over 1700 hours on it so far, and have played all dlc, all overhauls, as well as used a very large amount of the mods available, and am used to the server settings. I could help you know what settings you'd like to change to what depending on what you're looking for. We usually make our own server because it's definitely something that we don't want to play with base settings.

I'm playing the Valuego map with some friends and a couple randos in a player vs. environment casual server. We got some mods to make things overall easier and less time/tribe intensive that you're welcome to join on. (We've also added a dragon mod that can be a tad OP.)

I had a similar issue when I first tried Ark. Playing with friends who were just too well established already for myself to get into it. Fending off a bunch of level 100 dinos on a beach just trying to figure out the game xD

Depending on your PC specs, you can run your own server.

I thought about getting it but found that Destiny 2 is something for me. Especially when Guardian Games are up in the current Season of the Worthy(season 10). Enjoy the game od ARK.

Awesome game. We played a lot of it a while back. Sadly, not enough time for it now, and not the right crew to play with anymore! But yea, finding a server you feel is fun for you is a big part of it. :)

for sure a fun game but ya defaults with only a 1 or 2 person are killer XD I did it once...... once....XD

I do have a private server. It's quite modded but I wouldn't mind someone else! :D ARK is great.
