Help Yenth Out---Heraldry
Salutations dear readers.
I could use your help on little something: About a month and a half ago I was constructing my first wooden shield for NFC. And while I was making it, I was thinking about choice of colours for my own personal heraldry. I'm thinking of making myself a personal banner to be carried into conventions with me.
But before I get working, I'd like to ask you, dear reader, to come up with suggestions for two or three colour combinations to use.
You may also suggest style or imagery for either banner or a small wooden shield.
Originally I was thinking white and green or blue and white
And by the way: If your design is really good, I might just try and create a smaller banner for you in return.
That is all.
Have a good one

What does the text say?
Seeing and wanting
Of a design i have no clue but i might come back on that over here or on skype when i think of something :3
Argent (white) typically represents innocence, purity, peace and truth when used in heraldry, while vert (green) represents things like freedom, joy, heath, fidelity, and hope. Azure (blue) represents loyalty, truth and a stedfast attitude. How you divide the different colours of your banner can be significant too, especially if you divide them with an ordinary (a band with it's own colour like a cross or a chevron). For that you might consider a chevron or saltire (a diagonal cross like on the Scottish flag) which stand for protection, or a traditional cross for faithfulness.
So, that said, for now I'll toss out as a suggested design *clears throat and gets all pompous like a true heraldry enthusiast* a shield parted per chevron argent and or (white on the top, gold on the bottom), with chevron vert (a green chevron separating the two colours), charged with an anvil chief dexter (with an anvil in the upper right corner). Of course your charges (animals and symbols and things) can be whatever you like, I just went with an anvil because you make armour and things so it seemed appropriate.
