Hey guys! I'm excited about this! Here's a list of useful resources that might come in handy for world crafting.
http://chaoticshiny.com/
Chaoticy Shiny is a website that has a ton of free generators (or if you want to show them support you can buy packs, which are essentially just fancy bundles of the site's generators. There's a ton of stuff here so be sure to check it out.
http://donjon.bin.sh/
Donjon has a ton of name generators from ancient and medieval cultures worldwide, along with fantasy ones and even a customizatizable world-map generator. It also includes medieval demographics generators, adventure generators, inn generators, etc. etc. While mainly fantasy Dungeons and Dragons themed, it's an awesome resource for fantasy writers.
http://fantasynamegenerators.com/
Fantasy name generators is a massive archive of random name generators from tons of different cultures, both real-world and fictional. It also has a few miscellanious generators for descriptions and other things.
http://www.fakenamegenerator.com/
Generates real world fake names. SSN 's, phone numbers, jobs, blood types, favorite color, etc. Really good for truly fleshing out a modern-day character.
http://www.springhole.net/
A curious website devoted to a ton of different writing tools (it also has a section to worldbuilding specifically!) and is a great resource if you're bored, looking for inspiration, or just want to play around with their generators.
Remember though, your world is yours. Take random generators with a grain of salt. You should always take them as suggestions, and not law for what you want in your world. ^^
