Want a Commission?

Would anyone want a Commission if I were to reopen them sometime in the near future? Would anyone be willing to experiment with me aka be a guinea pig so I can get some artistic examples up?
I'm debating whether or not I should open up digital commissions until I find a job. That way I can get some practice in and make some kind of profit from my work and in turn help out a little more with finances. Thing is, would anyone want one? Does anyone have any ideas for what I can and/or should do?
I'm going to also be willing to include my not so strong points in as well, that way I get some practice.
Does anyone have any experience on how they could/would promote themselves and get people in? I'm not too experienced with commissions; although I've had them in the past. However, I would like to say my art has improved a bit. I just need to finish something I'm working on and submit it!
