Wowsers! I just realized I've had my Connecticut CCL for more than half my life. I got it in 1984, after the state decided Armed Guards needed special carry permits. I got the CCL and a few months later, I got the oaktag Security Officers' Identification Card. Today they look sort of like Drivers' Licenses; I haven't had a current one since I changed careers in 1990...

What? It's a gun, since the barrel is rifled; it's hand loaded so we'll call it a 'handgun', and it's covered in a tarp so it's technically concealed! (...Pretty sure you couldn't carry it though...)
