Furry Stereotypes

People have come up to me and said, “You’re a bat.I don’t know of any species stereotypes for bats, I really don’t know what to think of you.”
Gives me the giggles every time ^__^

Good on you for breaking the mould and being a bat; there aren't many that I know of and Nyxis has definitely made her mark in the community!
You know what, maybe it's best to to keep the species nuetral as long as possible :P
after a while I gave up and made myself a white dragon sona instead of a black cat i originally wanted :'3
stereotyping based on my personality can't really get stronger than that.
Honestly bats have always been one of my fave animals, so it's fun to tease anyone who still finds them scary and evil.
ò u ó Bats are awesome~!
But seriously I don't like any kind of stereotypes. Those kinda kill out all the imagination related to things/people.
And also gay. Very gay. Riding a dog-sleigh can mean one of two things here.
I don't think I'm that gross though. I think.I fashioned my first furry character, Coon, from ideas I had for the RPG Jadeclaw. I did not really think much about it at the time, but I really do have a lot of personality traits in common with raccoons, when you really think about their associated stereotypes. My actual fursona is a spotted leopard, a subspecies of large cat you really don't see much of. I like to think he defies feline stereotyping....he can be very serious at times, to the point of grim determination...but he's never aloof or completely distanced, even from his enemies. He recognizes that he has limits and is not afraid to be self-deprecating, nor does he have too much pride to ask for help.
Alsos being blind and weirdly attracted to people's hair XD
