Yeah, a lot of people lost their accounts, so they had to re-watch you.

Thinking about it, do you have any accounts on other sites? I'm trying to have a backup of my watchlist in case something happens to FA, and you're definitely one of the artists I'd rather not lose.

Oops... Of COURSE you are that awesome! Also, it seems that a lot of people got locked out of their accounts because they had email addresses that had lapsed, so they had to start new accounts and rewatch their entire list. Gods, the pain.....

I know a bunch of people lost their accounts because they don't have their old email info, so people have been making new ones. Maybe that's where they're coming from?

I lost my old email, due to Yahoo buggery, and contacted them with my shiny new gmail account and it was all okay. Got my account back and everything.

The attack caused FA to boot up their most recent back up (May 11th) Any watches, submissions, etc. were lost. Because of this, people are now trying to get back where they were before the attack. Unfortunately, I heard a lot of people are leaving FA because of it. A popular reason being that their personal information is at risk of being hacked.

That popular reason definitely is a stupid argument. Other sites are so much more secure.... are they?
At the Internet nothing is that secure. Live with that or cut off your provider for now and until eternity.

People can't reset their passwords for their old accounts to they're making new ones.

I've literally only JUST gotten back on mine. It took 4 days for FA's support to get back to me, and nearly an hour for the verification code to arrive in my inbox.

Well I had to make a new account because I'm locked out of my old one and none of the admits have contacted me back about getting it back
