Weight Gain
As of right now I weigh ~252 lbs. For most of my adult life I've always been under 200 lbs. and it wasn't until just this year that I gained a lot of weight. To cut down on a long story, I was in the bad habit of eating just one meal a day to maintain my weight. I wanted to go back to eating normally and see how that would change things. Now that I am eating breakfast and a few extra portions here and there, my digestion is much better and I don't have any negative side effects like high blood pressure or anything else. I work out a little bit and still do just as much walking as I always have, I just carry a bigger gut around now.
Something that really surprised me was how most people reacted to this change. Furries have been overwhelming positive, which really surprised me. I don't mean accepting either, I mean most of them keep telling me I look better with a belly. The people I go to college with said they couldn't even tell I gained weight (though it probably helps that I keep my clothes on when I'm on campus.) I'm not personally sure what to make of it but I feel good and nothing bad seems to have come of this. I am curious what the furs here think about it, especially if we haven't talked about it or you haven't seen me before. Why is being chubby seen as such a good thing around here lately?

*waits for the alpha to presumable try to punish the wolf for his playful insolence*
Although one reason I can come up with is that a man with a belly is more comfortable to cuddle with than someone who's pretty much a skeleton.
