I'm still not completely sure what I'm going to do this year. Probably get some dinner and a cake, I always feel exhausted this time of year so I always end up doing something simple. Just like last year, I really appreciate the comments I got when I turned 31.

I know journals don't always get much attention but I appreciate the time you guys took last year to wish me a happy birthday.

I haven't really been the best furry friend this past year. Going into this master's program has left me with very little free time. There are so many people that I wish I spent more time talking too. I hope I can balance things out a little bit better this year and I'm thankful to everyone that has been patient with me.
