am just pissed off so many good artists leave... and I see that leaving won't solve the problem as the other sites are going to be atacked too.

Ultimately, it is an artist decision rather or not they wish to be on this site anymore, regardless if FA has been hacked and crippled within a time frame or not. For some, it is merely a way to get their artwork out to show off as an hobby but to a small few, it is their main source of income. Several artists simply want a stable website with no faulty issues with the site or the staff running it in order to keep doing what they love to do.

Not saying any other website isn't prone to be attacked as pretty much any website can be hacked with knowledge of the website's design. However, any artist posting their artwork within another website gives them the ability to "back up" all of their hard work that they spent years on drawing for the public to see.

Funny then to scream about a for free website :D I mean. they have to pay Nothing to sell their stuff here but then complain about it being down. Well. if this site would cost something then I would argue about it .. but not about a for free page which Servers cost more than a thousand dollar a month to the owners. So much for being thankful

(And well. I heard there is some kind of component in your comp that is called Harddisk were you can also backup your stuff.. I have mine on three portable and on one onboard harddisk)

I'm going to admit something (as someone whose been here awhile), I'm getting really numb to the whole "leaving FA" situation, because most of the time, they come back when they have little to no audience in other areas, plus, it went from a simple thing to now a bandwagony type of situation. So I kinda don't fault him and his reactions

I do understand the anger about a safety hole in FA but it is not like your datas are going to be picked up on every other page too hacked or not. You really believe your datas are safe? I wonder how many people in other countries may use your name already before the FA thing happened.
Not that I do say FA was neglecting this problem. But leaving does only resolve into one thing : The fandom is being torn apart as many watcher and customers will not follow. Iff that was what the hackers were out for. they perfectly did it !

You're reading too much into it, or you might have just simply misread.
They said that the watcher numbers and page view numbers are just that, numbers, and they don't care about the numbers.
It's not that they don't care about the people, they just don't care about the numbers.
Which isn't really a bad mindset, after a certain point, those numbers are just numbers.
