I'm going to Anthrocon. It will be my first furry con. It will be my first time in an Artist Alley. I am terrified. But I'm doing it anyway, because that's how you live.

A lesson I'm relearning (and life is just learning the same lessons over and over again) is that the best way (the ONLY way) to defeat fear is to remove expectation and desire, and focus on what you love. I'm a big believer that everything comes down to a dichotomy of Love and Fear. In fact it's pretty much the ONLY dichotomy that I don't think is utter bullshit.

So here's to letting go. Here's to bravery as a verb. Here's to what will be amazing, because it has to be.
