what do you think makes a good monster?

I'm trying to brainstorm for a monster OC.
trying to think of different things that are monstrous.
I'm especially interested in things that you think are offbeat or things you don't think there are enough of.
Things like extra eyes, extra arms, etc, are stuff I see all the time, and when alone aren't particularly monstrous.
(although I do love things like extra eyes and a second pair of arms)
so, lemme know what you think of when you're thinking of something 'monstrous'
I want something like a monster girl, but I want the 'monster' part to be a bit more present than usual.

That's the main thing you want to look for. A body shape that is farther away from humans, instead of something anthropomorphic looking. Weird sets of legs, like Godzilla or something where he has super short legs that are really wide apart. Hunched over postures help a lot too, and of course, features that look DANGEROUS. Fangs, multiple rows of teeth, long claws, barbs or spikes. Of course it all depends on what the intended locale, purpose, and methods of the monster are. Do they eat meat? How do they hunt? That kind of stuff helps build it all together!
