Character Profile: Ace Taylor
Name: Ace Taylor
Species: Horse
Age: 27
Nationality: American (he’s from Texas)
Height: 7’4 feet
Sexuality: Homosexual
Occupation: Judicator Adjutant
Personality: Friendly, sociable, Smooth, Slightly deadpan, jokey, cocky, mischievous, wise-cracking, loves to tease and prank, good-hearted (despite his occupation), bizarrely cool when aiding his fellow Judicators deliver judgement to criminals, slightly coo coo, loyal and vulnerable deep down.
Hobbies: His boyfriend and commander Sobek, hanging out with his fellow Judicators, doing ranch work, video games, comic books, football, his corvette, driving his corvette at high speeds in the Texan countryside, hanging at coffee shops and hoping to score with some guy patrons, internet, cooking.
Bio: Not much is known about Ace’s childhood, but what is known is that he was born in Austin, Texas, his mother left him and his father when he was just 3 years old and he lived on the streets when he turned 15. Despite his time homeless being incredibly hard, Ace held on to hope that his life turn better one day. He lived in a homeless shelter and took jobs that didn’t pay well but enough to buy him food.
When Ace turned 20, the Law Enforcement Organization known as “The Judicators” had risen into power, and were slowly but surely ridding Texas of crime (In my universe, Texas was one of few states where crime had risen into dangerously uncontrollable levels and the police were incapable/incompetent to stop the crisis). One day, Ace was walking past a Judicator recruiting station, and was interested in what they offered: They offered anyone homeless better lodging and a generous salary in exchange for 8 years of service. Ace quickly took the offer, even though he knew well enough that Judicator work was dangerous, but he figured that it was a fair deal than continuing living on the streets.
(Note: Lie detecting technology in the 2030’s has greatly surpassed our own, and Ace took one during recruitment so to ensure he wasn’t lying about being homeless).
Ace performed very well in his training. He performed so well that he, along with 9 others were selected as candidates for potential adjutants for “The Nine” (The nine are Judicator Commanders who form the Supreme Commander’s Inner Circle). The 10 candidates performed a series of tests, and after many months of testing, only 5 passed (Ace being one of the 5). Ace was chosen by Commander Sobek Harken, one of the founders of the Judicator Organization.
Ace served Sobek well as his adjutant, though Ace would often annoy Sobek with his wise-cracking behaviour (it got to the point that Sobek even exclaimed that he was more annoying than his second eldest brother Amon). One day, Ace was called to Sobek’s office and he was surprised by what happened next. Sobek, his stern and humourless commander, became shy and awkward when he confessed that he found him attractive, and awkwardly asked if they both can go on a date. Ace was shocked, but quickly regained his composure and happily accepted.
They became a couple afterwards, and Ace even told Sobek that he would continue being in service to the Judicators if it meant being with him. Sobek even offered Ace to have him live with him in his ranch, in which Ace gladly accepted.
