Sun, dear, it is a VERY GOOD THING the forums are gone.

The first day was fine. The night following, several people thought it was a good idea to start a 'meme-war' and just shitpost tons of things. Funny at first...annoying after a while...and it eventually turned into hate posts.

Some miscommunication happened with the mods apparently and posts started getting deleted. Some of which were posts that people were trying to have act as a 'haven' for autistic, mentally disabled, etc people, and some were for otherkin, fictionkin, etc etc. So some of these posts were takenh down with NO context. Most people lashed out and began saying " Oh no the mods are against autism and otherkin oh no let's riot' but the thing is, these threads were taken down before people were able to go back and look and see that arguments had begun on most of these forum topics, trolls were coming out and setting fires to the whole thing, etc etc.

While I understand people feel a need for a place to 'reach out' with these types of groups, Furvilla simply is not the place for it, or, at least there should NOT have been literally hundreds of these types of posts. If you're going to want to feel like making an autists unite post, make one and done.

After the fiasco, in my opinion, it just seemed like even more autism and otherkin forum threads were being made up by trolls to use as bait for more drama. The forums were stressing people out who just wanted to enjoy the game because the 'Recent Posts' box was constantly bombarded with " FUCK THE MODS" and " Autism people who like transformers come here!" and " Otherkins who only identify as wolves here" " Fictionkin discord" "Fictionkin/otherkin what is your experience with non-kin" "Autistic people are being shamed"

BLAH BLAH BLAH nothing but drama, dude. It was obnoxious and a lot of false information was spreading. The site only has 4 mods. Four. That's it. In the end it was very, very smart to shut down those forums. It was getting out of hand, they couldn't resolve the issue, and until more mods are hired, the forums will remain closed.



Edit: I want to make it very clear that I have nothing against autistic people or any other sort of disability. Even otherkin. Just explaining the drama that happened.

I'm always so blissfully unaware of all the important stuff going on around me, sheesh.
I really liked the forums because of the "Help the noobs" and "Tips for beginners" threads, and a lot of other things, now that i think about it.
Having a way to personally buy/sell stuff to folks, bargaining on the prices of our little materials was a cute thing i saw going around. And, of course, just the threads where people talked about what they liked, hobbies, and interests!

I saw the autism thread, but i just thought of it as one of the many threads on the site, and never paid it any mind!
I never knew all THIS was going on, hecking Sheesh.

I thought it was a cute little thing, but if all that madness is happening, the forum should die until it can be handled u.u
And..four mods for a site of This size?? The userbase is extreme holy smokes..
Ah, well..I'm not very good(?) at the game anyways! I never know what to do other than buy/sell, and now theres no newbie forum to help me out.. drat ;w;
But if that much drama would arise again, then the forums can stay gone!

I just started FurVilla today, it's kinda fun, but I'm more aggravated at the slow loading times XP

yeah! The lag on that site is constant, and it makes me think that my computer is moving slow as a whole, but nope! Everything else is just fine.
I'm still a bit lost on what my explorer can do other than find and sell things, but we're all still learning!
