Electric Forest & Anthrocon

Words cannot describe how much my personality and morals have changed in just the past few weeks influenced by the people I have met and the experiences brought by these people and events.
I will begin with talking about the Electric Forest, the name is even a little ??? like. I went with
and our buddy Tofu, it was amazing to see Lucky again! I went to this place with absolutely no idea what I was getting into, at all. I didn't watch any videos, view pics, or even visit the website. I went in completely blind with no expectations and I am soooo glad I did. Absolutely everything there was breath taking, everything and everyone had a purpose. I felt more connected to these people than I do furries, and I literally don't even care about EDM (until now).
My luggage had been lost at the airport in chicago (a connecting flight) so I had literally no clothing other than what I was wearing. But my neighbors in Electric Avenue bought me socks, underwear!!!! Random people I had never met in my life, who just happened to be camping next door. Trisha, Janet, Don, John, and Nicky.... You guys are some of the most beautiful souls I've ever met. I cant believe I was lucky enough to be neighbors with them in the forest. (my luggage arrived later that day, but just the concept that they did that with out me asking or even complaining about it is just... wow.)
I will absolutely be going back next year, and other festivals similar when I get the time and money. I've never felt so at home... I felt.... weightless. Nothing else in the entire world mattered. If you thought furries were open and friendly.... go to an edm festival... these people are the purest souls.
I could write for hours about all the things I did and sights I saw, but y'all would stop reading after so long haha.. I think I'm going to be shifting my focus and passion away from furries to be completely honest. Furries are amazing but I was focusing all my artistic ability and passion on furries only, I'm beginning to branch out and put my art in more places. (don't get me wrong i have oogles of hobbies, but none really as artsy as furries).
SOOOOOOO lets talk about anthrocon.
It was rather boring to be entirely honest. I will not be attending next year, I don't like how... hostile furries are beginning to be. A lot of people made me feel... like I was lower than them because I didn't have as many followers or something. I would watch so called friends leave me for "popufur/private" parties only.
I literally had a friend message a """popufur""" saying just about the same thing I sent but they got a completely different result. Idk.. maybe I'm overthinking it but I just am not digging the whole elitist vibe the fandom has significantly allowed to take over. Don't get me wrong I still love everything and everyone, and I have no hard feelings but wow. Its a different vibe than the amazing fandom I discovered many years ago as a young teenager. Because I approach everyone (not if they appear busy). The Electric Forest was like the exact opposite of anthrocon, I received thousands of compliments and basically, if you make eye contact at the forest, you're about to have a 5 minute conversation at least. AND THATS WHAT I LOVE. I looooooove to talk to new people, anthrocon just was really.... bland.
ANNNNYYYWAYYYSSSSSS. Sorry for rambling, I hope everyone enjoyed their anthrocon. I still had a great time with my Boyfriend and

Yeah some people can be rough on others sometimes. Usually try to take it as a joke or them just not understanding. Taking a break from it might be best for next year.
